In honour of International Museum Day on May 18th, all archaeological museums across Egypt will be open for free to Egyptian citizens. This initiative, coordinated by the Supreme Council of Antiquities, aims to raise public awareness of Egypt’s rich cultural heritage and the vital role museums play in education and research.

Visitors can expect a variety of special events, including exhibitions, workshops, and guided tours focusing on themes like scientific exploration and the use of technology in museums.
