Tatweer Misr has announced the signing of an agreement with Schneider Electric to get the most out of their latest solutions and innovative software, AVEVA platform in order to manage the facilities and services of their coastal project, IL Monte Galala, which reflects on improving the operation efficiency whilst reducing costs.

This happened during the company’s participation in the twenty-eighth cycle of COP, Conference of the Parties that aims to observe the progress of climate change. 

The agreement was signed by Ahmed Shalabi, the managing director and CEO of Tatweer Misr, and Nayef Bushaya, Vice President of AVEVA Middle East and Africa, and in the presence of Sebastian Reyes,President of Schneider Electric for the Northeast Africa and Levant region, and a number of leaders from the two mentioned earlier companies. 

The agreement mentioned that AVEVA platform will provide all innovative software solutions in managing the systems, facilities and services of IL Monte Galala, which is located in the Red Sea area, Ain Sokhna. This is through monitoring all the project’s operations using a management model and real-time analysis, alarms, events and stored data and converting them into a unified information source, which makes the operation and maintenance of the system more efficient and flexible.

In addition to optimal management of energy and water consumption and irrigation systems, providing a system that can be developed to connect and integrate a greater number of facilities and operations, enhancing the operational processes of resources and ensuring their availability around the clock, such as inclined elevators and other mobility solutions. This comes within the framework of Tatweer Misr’s vision to create sustainable, smart and happy urban projects, by using the latest technological solutions provided by major international companies in designing, implementing and managing the company’s diverse project portfolio.  

This aims to preserve the environment and rationalise the consumption of natural resources, while at the same time improving the quality of life for customers and reducing the cost of living.
