Engineer Ali Al-Sharbani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tabarak Developments (TBK Real Estate Development Company), affirmed that Egypt has promising opportunities to achieve strong success in the field of real estate export, especially with the competitive advantages enjoyed by Egyptian real estate, such as its low price and the distinguished standard of living in Egypt. However, there are some challenges facing expansion in this file.
He explained that one of the prominent challenges is the issue of unit registration. Foreign clients want reassurance about their investments and want assurance for their unit purchases. There is a strong demand from Gulf clients such as (Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Yemen, Morocco, Tunisia, etc.) to buy in Egypt as part of the strong relations that unite the people of Egypt and the Arab countries. He also noted that Egyptians working abroad are considered target customers for real estate export.
He pointed out that companies’ focus on selling abroad through foreign exhibitions is not an essential element for the success of external marketing. Instead, the focus should be on after-sales services to the customer and having a presence in the region or country to which the real estate is exported. This way, there is a reference for the foreign customer and a means of communication with the company from which they made the purchase.
